唐长安城和北宋东京城作为我国古都的重要代表,在城市建设方面也堪称古代城市建设的典范之作,二者在城市建制和布局方面,体现着我国古代历史上城市发展的脉络趋势,完成了由里坊到街巷的转变,对后世的城市建设有着深远的影响,对现今的一些规划也有着指导意义

Being the very important represents of China’s ancient capitals,Chang’an City of Tang Dynasty and Dongjin City of North Song Dynasty are referred to as models of urban construction of ancient cities.In terms of the urban system and the city layout,both cities displayed the tendency of urban development of Chinese ancient cities with the pattern transformation from Lifangzhi to Jiexiangzhi, which provides not only the great influence to the urban construction later but also a significant guidance to the urban plan today.
