摘要:
通过研究莎士比亚的十四行诗中多次出现季节意象的特点,可发现其季节使用模式包括:单一季节模式、双季节交替模式、三季节交替模式以及四季交替模式。在此基础上,以具体的诗行为例,依据诗中体现出的莎翁情感和文艺复兴时期的时空观,对这些模式的特点和作用进行了解读。
Abstract:
Seasonal images often occur in Shakespeare’s sonnets. This paper focuses on the patterns of the seasonal usage in Shakespeare’s sonnets. It is found that the seasonal usage includes mono-season pattern, dual-season pattern, triple-season pattern, and quartic-season pattern. Accordingly, exemplified by the relevant sonnets, based on Shakespeare’s feelings in sonnets and the temporal outlook of Renaissance, how to interpret the characteristics and functions of those patterns are also proposed in this paper.
