历史文化村镇的类型划分是历史文化村镇保护与发展的基础性研究之一。历史文化村镇的类型是对历史文化村镇特征的典型概括。对于山西历史文化村镇类型的研究,着重考虑到地形地貌、经济特点、文化特色等八个方面,建立山西历史文化村镇类型选择的模式体系,通过不同类型的角度来分析研究山西历史文化村镇的典型特征。

Research about type of ancient towns and villages is basic research in the protection and development of ancient towns and villages. The types of ancient villages and towns are typical summary of the feature of ancient towns and villages. The article researched types of ancient villages and towns in Shanxi, and focused on considering the topography, economic characteristics, culture and other eight areas, then established the pattern system of types and selection of ancient villages and towns in Shanxi, and analyzed typical features of ancient villages in Shanxi through the perspective of different types.
