摘要:
隋炀帝大业年间大兴城出现了融并佛寺的活动。文献记载中融并佛寺的时间分为大业七年、大业中和大业、武德中三种情况; 并废佛寺的空间分布集中在朱雀门街西利人市周围和皇城以西诸坊内,街东分布较少。大业年间大兴城之所以发生融并佛寺,究其原因主要是由于大兴城人口日益增长的住宅需求与佛寺扩张引起的城市不同职能之间对空间的竞争。唐都长安城内也经常出现舍宅为寺和废寺为宅的情况。这种佛寺与宅第之间的转换,实质上是城市宗教职能与居住职能之间的一种空间竞争。通过佛寺与住宅的空间竞争,隋唐长安城内的土地利用结构得到调整,促进了城市的进一步发展。
Abstract:
A lot of Buddhist temples in Daxing Citywere merged during the Daye Reign of the Sui Dynasty. According to document records, the combinations took place in three periods: the seventh year of the Daye Reign, the middle period during the Daye Reign and the middle periods during the Daye and Wude Reigns.The abandoned Buddhist temples are mainly located around Lirenshi(the Western Market)west of Zhuque Gate and various residential blocks west of the Imperial City with a few in the east of Zhuque Avenue. It is due to the transformation of different urban functions caused by the growing housing demand of the urban population and the rapid expansion of Buddhist temples in Daxing City.In Chang'an city of the Tang Dynasty, there were also cases where dwelling houses were converted into temples or vice versa.The conversion between Buddhist temples and houses in the city results essentially from the space competition between religious function and residential function of the city,by which the urban space structure in Chang'an City of the Sui and Tang Dynasties is adjusted to promote the further development of the city.
