摘要:
?父与子文学母题在福克纳的约克纳帕塔法世系小说中反复出现。不同作品中的父子关系各有特点。这篇文章从父子关系的情感基础、父子对话模式、基督教文化等角度对《烧马棚》父子关系进行解读:儿子萨蒂内心忠诚与反叛的较量贯穿父子关系发展始末;父子对话模式表现为;语言刺激反应链条断裂,以言取效行为失败,违背合作原则下的对话准则;父子关系的原型影射耶稣与其门徒的关系,有着强烈的宗教内涵。

Abstract:
?The literary theme on father and son is recurrent in William Faulkner’s Yoknapatawpha novels. However, the father-son relations differ from work to work. The father-son relation in Barn Burning is analyzed from multi-perspectives in this paper, including the affection underlying the father-son relation, their dialogue patterns, and Christian culture. To be specific, the competition between allegiance and treachery in Sarty’s inner world penetrates into the development of their relation; the father-son dialogue pattern comprises the fracture of the stimulus-response chain, the failure of perlocutionary act, and the violation of the conversational maxims governed by the Cooperative Principle; and from the prototype theory, the father-son relation is alluded to that of Jesus Christ and his disciples with strong religious implications.
