摘要:: 邦雅曼?贡斯当主张将自由划分为古代人的积极政治自由和现代人的消极个人自由,他力图将两种自由观有机的结合起来,认为两者之间存在内在张力但都不可偏废任何一方,政治自由是个人自由的保障,政治自由又是建立在个人自由的基础上?在公民政治参与的视阈下,分析古代人与现代人的政治自由之区别,并结合贡斯当的代议制建设及现代权力分化,公民政治参与对于两种自由观及其关系的作用不可忽视,并得出扩大公民有序政治参与能更好地促进两种自由观之间的内在和谐?

Abstract:: Classifying freedom as“the liberty of the Ancients”which is a participatory,liberty,and “the liberty of the Moderns”in which direct participation would be limited,Benjamin Constant tried to integrate two ideas organically in that he believed there is immanent tension between so that neither of them cant be ignored.In light of citizensinvolvement in political affairs and the construction of the representative system proposed by Constant,the paper argues that the function of citizens political involvement in its relationship with two ideas of freedom should not be neglected.It is believed that expanding citizens orderly political participation might as well improve the inner harmony between two liberties.
