摘要:
休谟否认自然齐一性的存在，并对归纳推理的有效性提出了质疑，这使得科学知识的合法性遭到挑战。为了解决归纳问题，哲学家们进行了不懈的探索，金岳霖就是其中一个。在金岳霖看来，归纳推理是从特殊到普遍的抽象过程，而归纳原则就是“如果—则（大概）”式的命题。他从部分真则全体可能为真、时间不会打住以及秩序之有三个方面论证了归纳原则永真。通过分析可以发现，归纳原则永真不是金岳霖论证所得的结论，而是其知识论必须接受的前提假设。因此，金岳霖并没有真正解决归纳问题。
Abstract:
Hume denied the principle of uniformity of nature and queried the validity of inductive reasoning, thus bring challenge to the necessity of scientific knowledge. In order to answer the problem, many philosophers undertook unremitting exploration. Being one of them, Jin Yuelin argued that the inductive reasoning is an abstract process from the specific to the general and the principle of induction is expressed by the hypothesis of “if-then (possibly)”. He attempted to demonstrate the validity of principle of induction from three aspects, such as, the hypothesis that if a part is true then all is probably true, the eternity of time, and the existence of orders. Based on the analysis, it is found that the validity of principle of induction is not what Jin Yuelin came up with, but the premise that he should take for granted in his epistemology. So Jin Yuelin didn’t answer the Hume’s problem of induction actually.
