刘永济先生是20世纪中国古典文学研究的大家,广泛地问学经历不仅为其奠定了深厚的古典文学素养,也使其能不囿于传统,致力于中国本位的文学研究。刘永济学术观念及学术方法的形成离不开《学衡》与《湘君》两份杂志。同时,与吴宓、吴芳吉、缪钺的学术交往,也对刘永济的古典文学研究产生了一定的影响。反思刘永济先生在20世纪中国现代学术转型之际所作的学术实践与治学范式的选择,不仅有助于理解其独特的治学方法,更能为当下的文学研究所面临的“失语”问题提供一种思考的途径以及增强作“中国的”文学理论的信心。
Mr. Liu Yongji is one of the masters of Chinese classical literature study in the 20th century, whose extensive learning experience not only lays a solid foundation for his classical literature accomplishment, but also enables him to devote himself to Chinese-centered literary research beyond the traditional constraint. Liu Yongji's academic concept and method can't do without two magazines, Critical Review and Xiangjun. At the same time, the academic exchanges with Wu Mi, Wu Fangji and Miao Yue also give Liu Yongji no small influence on his classical literature research. In a word, the reflection on Mr. Liu Yongji's academic practice and his choice of research paradigm at the time of China's modern academic transformation in the 20th century is helpful to understand his unique research methods. It will provide a way of thinking for the "aphasia" faced by the current literary research and enhance the confidence to develop Chinese-centered literary theory.
