It is one of the important issues in both philosophy and anthropology to explore the relation between Nature and culture. Generally, the domestication is considered as a human-guided biological process, by which animal is nurtured out of its original nature state. However, some empirical studies reexamine the human-animal interaction and point out the dynamic role that the animal plays in the course. The finding leads to a new definition of human beings' position in the social/ecological system and a reflection on issues brought out by natural/cultural dualism.
