摘要:
在文学研究会卓越的作家群里，徐志摩不仅以诗文创作享有盛誉，也是名副其实的文学翻译家、短篇小说家。他的翻译与创作相互交织，互为相长。其短篇小说创作受到其译介的、素有“英国契诃夫”之称的凯瑟琳?曼斯菲尔德的互文性影响。从叙事学角度出发，探析徐志摩短篇小说创作与其译介的曼斯菲尔德短篇小说在叙事艺术上的互文关系：在叙事聚焦上，徐志摩奠定内外在式聚焦转换的叙事方式，灵活转换叙事视角；在叙事结构上，他选取生活片段做文章，多刻画展示性情节；在叙事空间上，他巧用故事空间和心理空间，推动情节发展，增添小说的表现力。研究表明，徐志摩的短篇小说在叙事聚焦、叙事结构和叙事空间上都是通过借鉴曼斯菲尔德的作品，并将其创造性地融入自己的创作中，从而形成自己的短篇小说叙事特色。
Abstract:
Among the versatile writers of the Literature Research Association, Xu Zhi-mo, the most representative, enjoys a reputation of not only a talented poet but also an accomplished translator and short story writer veritably. His translation and creation are intertwined and mutually constructive, among which his short story writing was influenced by “the English Chekhov”, Katherine Mansfield. This paper explores into the intertextuality between his short stories writing and the translation of Mansfield’s short stories from the narrative aspects. In the narrative focus, Xu Zhi-mo established a narrative mode to switch the internal and external focalizations with a flexible conversion of narrative perspectives. In the narrative structure, he selected “slices of life” as the construction of stories to highlight descriptive plots. In narrative space, he also employed story and psychological space to develop the plot, adding intense to short stories. This study shows that learning from Mansfield Xu Zhi-mo blends the narrative focalizations, narrative construction and spatial narrative creatively into his writings to form his creative uniqueness.
